For more than 100 years, the people of Carlentini, Sicily, and Omaha, Nebraska, have been connected by history, culture, and family ties. That bond is now celebrated through the official Sister City partnership, finalized in 2025, and through our flagship program—the Little Italy Walking Tours.

 

These tours bring history to life, guiding residents and visitors through Omaha’s Little Italy neighborhood while sharing the stories of Sicilian immigrants who helped shape our city. More than just a walk, it’s an experience that honors our past, educates our community, and inspires future generations.
