MORE THAN A TRIP TO ITALY
The NIAF Midwest Voyage of Discovery Leadership Program connects college students of Italian ancestry with opportunities to explore their heritage, develop as leaders, and become more involved in the Italian-American community.
COA-USA will sponsor two students to apply for the NIAF Midwest Voyage of Discovery Italy Trip. The two student ambassadors will hold leadership roles as active NIAF members to promote Italian heritage as a youth leader for COA-USA
2027 STUDENT AMBASSADORS
Represent Your Heritage. Represent the Midwest
COA-USA will select two college students in order to qualify for the Voyage of Discovery Trip.
The two students will be awarded a one-year paid membership, mentorship, application guidance, and opportunities to become more involved in the Italian-American community while representing the Midwest program.

Italian Heritage
Tell us about your Italian ancestry and how your heritage has been part of your life. You don't need to know your entire family history—we want to learn about your connection and your interest in discovering more.
Leadership
Tell us about experiences where you've taken initiative, helped others, accepted responsibility, or made a difference.
Service & Involvement
Share how you participate in your school, church, workplace, organizations, athletics, cultural activities, or community.
Giving Back
The experience doesn't end when the Voyage does. Student Ambassadors will share what they learn and encourage future college students to explore their Italian heritage and leadership opportunities.
